IBPS PO
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS PO Bank Exam which is your gateway to the much sought after bank jobs. IBPS provides its services to all public–sector banks, SBI, associate banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other banks which are regular members of the IBPS society.
The IBPS PO preliminary examination has a total duration of 1 hour and is conducted in online mode. It consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking in IBPS PO pre exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must clear the cut–off in all 3 sections to qualify for the IBPS PO Main exam. IBPS PO Interview
The candidates who have qualified the mains exam are called for a face to face interview which carries a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC⁄ST⁄OBC⁄PWD candidates).
The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in mains examination and interview. The final score is calculated by IBPS with weightage of marks given to the mains examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have a degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid mark–sheet ⁄ degree certificate that he ⁄ she is a graduate on the day he ⁄ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have certificate⁄diploma⁄degree in computer operations⁄language⁄ should have studied computer ⁄ information technology as one of the subjects in the high school⁄college⁄institute.
Age: Minimum: 20 years, Maximum: 30 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1986 and not later than 01.07.1996 (both dates inclusive)

- Women and single men with children or aged parents have the provision to take sabbatical leave of up to 2 years.
- Bank employees can also be transferred to its respective foreign branches and can get a chance to work in foreign countries.
